K9 Security Methods Limited is a limited liability company founded by the Managing Director Mr. Damian Rezende.
We were incorporated in 2004 and received our recognition as a Private Security Agency from the Ministry of National Security in 2006. The primary focus of our company initially was the provision of a high quality canine service specifically in the area of contraband and explosive detection. However, over time and as a result of an increased demand, we evolved into a service provider, offering a complete range of security products and services. Our work force currently stands at One Hundred and Fifty (150) Officers.
We believe that in order for a quality service to be delivered, we must understand our Customer’s needs and create a proper job fit with our officers assigned to our customer sites. This will ensure a proper synchronization between our service delivery and our customer’s operations. Customer care is our paramount concern.
It is our belief that Intelligent Service, Effective Protection and Instant Response is what differentiates K9 Security Methods from other service providers in the market place. In order for us to achieve this objective, our recruit selection process plays an integral part of our service delivery, as well as our Field Supervision.
Management Team
Our management team maintains an open door policy with both our Customers and our Staff to ensure that they are well in tuned with what is happening on the ground within our operations. This constant contact allows for intervention in the operations process to ensure that supervisors are guided in their day-to-day functions.
We welcome direct comments from our Customers should they wish to use alternate channels to communicate with us on any concerns they may have.

Mr. Damian Rezende
Managing Director
Damian, the Founder of K9 Security Methods, has over twenty seven (27) years of experience in the security industry.
His exposure includes experiences both locally and in Canada, where he achieved the designation as a Certified Security Officer and is licensed with the Office of Canadian Municipal Law Enforcement as a private investigator.
Damian is also an Estate Superintendent of Police under the Supplemental Police Act 15:02, and has also received his Certificate of Competence in Weapons Handling. He is also the President of the Trinidad and Tobago Kennel Club as well as the President of the German Shepherd Association of Trinidad and Tobago.
Ms. Liesel-Maria Williams
General Manager
Ms. Williams was brought onto the team to specifically focus on the improvement of Customer care, interaction and satisfaction.
She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Miami and brings a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to the K9 Family.
Mr. Ronnie Luke
Operations Manager
Mr. Luke has over 30 years of experience within the Security and HSSE field. He is a member of the International Foundation for Protection Officers since 1997 and carries a designation of Certified Protection Officer (CPO).
Mr. Luke also studied Nebosh Health and Safety Management, OSHA Management and holds a level 3 Certificate from the University of South Florida. Additional he acquired certification in Security Management, Environment Management, Industrial Relations and Labour Law.
Mr. David Douglas
HSSE Consultant
Mr. Douglas has over 20-years experience in operations management, healthcare, safety, emergency response, and construction and fleet systems management. He joined K9’s management team in 2012.
Mr. Douglas’s education is varied and is complimentary to a variety of management and health and safety settings. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Dalhousie (Microbiology and Environmental Science). He has education in project management, business management, dispute resolution and business communication.
Mr. Dewan Balgobin
Administration & Accounts Receivable
Mr Balgobin has over 18 years of security experience which comprises of Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Security Management.
Mr. Balgobin joined our team in 2018 and has been a great asset to our organization.
Mr. Simon Burke
Payroll
Mr. Burke was brought on to the team to provide consultancy services.
He is a former Senior Manager who worked in the banking sector for over thirty five (35) years.
He brings a wealth of experience in finance, lending, operations project and people management.
